This week, we toured the Cedars on Old Canton road in Jackson.
When we drove onto the property, we were greeted by a smiling woman in her mid-60's holding a case of beer in each arm.
"The good thing about weddings - you get to take home the leftovers," she says followed by a big belly laugh.
Everyone knows I'm a sucker for good beer.
We instantly fell in love.
Everyone on the property made us feel so welcome. They were completely relaxed and showed us around like we were new neighbors across the street.
The oak trees were spectacular. It is probably what I loved most about the property! |
A tin roof- oh so southern. I cant resist a tin roof. |
The house once served as a stage coach stop in the 1800's for people headed towards Canton. They renovated it and it is so spacious and charming. |
Happy Friday!
