Our First Couples Shower

Throughout our wedding planning, it's been difficult to stick to a theme. Although our wedding theme is still very much vintage, it has somewhat transformed into a vintage wedding with a touch of floral - floral bridesmaid halos, floral aisle runner, floral programs. It only made sense that our hostess gifts reflect our special day!

The pots are from Anthropologie (my favorite store in the universe) and the succulents are from The Everyday Gardener in Fondren. Upon my visit to The Everyday Gardener, I was greeted with two smiley face women, the kind of women one imagines working in a garden store. They wore cute aprons, made funny jokes and giggled - and they knew flowers. Within 10 minutes of my visit, they had whipped up 5 beautiful arrangements, moss and all. They are the kind of women one can't forget. I left with a feeling that I had made two new friends, and I couldn't help but wonder when my next visit would be.

The weekend ended with Tyler and I having our first couples shower at his grandmother's house. I don't have another word to describe it besides magical. We felt so loved! Every one was so attentive to us and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. And we did.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so I will leave you with photos of just how special our shower really was!

Thank you to our selfless family and friends for being so generous and giving us such a wonderful memory that we will cherish for a life time.
