We're Engaged: Venue Shopping Part 1

Yesterday we met up with the sweetest woman who gave us a tour of The Heart of Pines in Brandon. We are thinking we want to go a bit vintage with the overall theme of the wedding, so the Victorian house was the perfect touch.

The inside of the home was very spacious. You could rent out the 5 bedrooms for overnight stay for your bridal party if you wanted, which I thought was pretty cool. The kitchen was beyond adorable and had a lot of windows that looked outside. It's the perfect house for that bride and groom who want their guests to shuffle between outside and inside. The house originally resided in Canton before the owners moved it and plopped it down on this land! I wanted to live in it!

The barn was cute, although I was expecting a little more from the inside of it. It needed some work! They did, however, have separate stalls that once served as stables, and could put different types of food stands in the stables.

They had a gazebo that has recently been built. The owners built it to where the sun would set as you were saying your vows. Tyler and I are not a huge fan of gazebos, so that did not sell us on anything.

The adorable little kitchen that I want to live and cook in!

That's all for today, kids. Still haven't found "the one", but I think we're getting closer.
