People often ask us if we go to the beach a lot since we live in Florida (and it's only 2 miles away). Sadly, we don't! I'm not a fan of laying in the sand and sweating during the summer. If you're a Florida resident, you get what I mean. In the summer, it's so humid here that it's basically pointless putting on makeup. But I love the beach during winter which is why we took a little detour and soaked in the rays. Boy, was it chilly!
I cherish these moments with Tyler.
I love vintage clothes and I feel the same about vintage styled pictures, too. I felt these pictures had a "polaroid" feel to them and I adore the simplicity of them all. I hope they take you somewhere far away today.
So cute. I love the filmy, vintage look to them too! We lived in Charleston for a few years and going to the beach in the cold season was my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you agree! I think something about cold wind on your face in a sweater, and your toes in the cold sand is magical! :)
DeleteBeach in the winter sounds like a beautiful and romantic thing! I am heading down to flordia from Minnesota and am so excited to be at the beach, whatever the temps are!
ReplyDeleteHeather, we hope you love Florida!! Definitely stop at the beach while you're here and tell me all about it! :) Ps. bring a coat! The humidity makes the weather unbearable here. Feels like ice on your face! haha!
DeleteHow wonderful! Beautiful photos! Love the vintage touch!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet Chrissy!!
DeleteI like the vintage style. and I'm jealous of your beach when we have been having -38 degree temps with the wind chill and LOTS of snow. I need a vacation :)
ReplyDeleteI say we trade for a week :) I love snow. Probably because I rarely see it. Haha
DeleteI absolutely love your style and these pictures! So much fun. :)
