My Bachelorette Party

Bachelorette party: tutus, a veil, cocktails, stage dancing, good food, great friends, and lots of laughter.

These are words that perfectly sum up my bachelorette week in Watercolor, Florida. I had 3 of my best friends drive/fly to Florida on Monday to live it up with me for my last single gal party. And boy did we live it up

The week started off with picking up Alison from the Panama City airport. Not only did I go down a one-way street to get to the airport, but also got pulled over by airport police telling me that I was going down a one-way road. Lovely start to a crazy week. Luckily, they got a good laugh and escorted me to the correct street. Thank goodness for that - I wanted to avoid handcuffs this week!

After picking up Alison, we later arrived at her precious beach house.

I adored the tile, so I had to snap a picture!
Once we got settled, she started unpacking a suitcase solely for decorations: signs, huggies, straws, banners, pinwheels, balloons. It's no wonder why she was in charge of decorations; this girl knows how to throw a party! We had the best time decorating the place, and the decorations really made it feel like a bachelorette party.

Taylor (my MOH/cousin/bff) and Laney (her BFF and my new BFF) arrived a couple of hours later, and we didn't waste any time getting ready for a fun night.

Before I get started, I have to brag about my cousin for a quick second- not only did she provide delicious and creative beverages for every single night of the week, she also got her mom to write me poems to go along with the drink of choice. With each poem, an article of clothing was given to match the theme.

Example: this was Monday night's poem. How creative is she? With this, we were all given lei's!

Trying to figure out how to work the blender. I thought it was too funny, so I had to take a picture.

Below are the "pre" bar and "post" bar pictures of our night. Hilarious, I tell ya. There was a difference of about 5 hours.

We were lagging on Tuesday and got to the beach around 2 PM. Alison reserved us chairs along the Watercolor Inn for extra comfort. It was fabulous, not to mention our little car (below) that we got to drive around the beach. We didn't drive a car once! Talk about convenience!

Tuesday night was low key. We were given tutu's, but decided to stay in and have a spaghetti night. As cheesy (no pun intended) as it sounds, it was really special to have a family dinner together. Pajamas and pasta - a much needed night! And yes, we wore the tutus.

Wednesday was probably my favorite night, only because we were provided with disguises - wigs! We ate fabulous Mexican food that I would recommend to anyone, we had people taking pictures with us, and my drinks were paid for. Overall, I felt very special.

After Mexican, we headed to a bar in Panama about 45 minutes away. Since it wasn't Labor Day weekend yet, the crowds were non existent (meaning we had the stage to ourselves.) Not only did we have scratch off cards that gave us dares, but I also had to dance on stage all by my lonesome due to my dare. Taylor made it easy for me by requesting the DJ play T.I. (because...that's the song I get my groove on to.)

Thank you, ladies, for giving me a special weekend full of laughter and most importantly, love. I only hope I will be able to return the favor to you!
