Bits of My Week






1. A Christmas MESS!
2. My new Canon 50mm f1.4 lens.
3. What our weather looked like on Christmas day - POURING rain and tornadoes everywhere.
4. Every year, someone manages to burn the sweet potato casserole. This year, it was in FLAMES. I almost used the fire extinguisher. We replaced the marshmallows, and it still tasted delicious!
5. Because i'm obsessed with breakfast and always manage to post a breakfast picture on here.
6. Shopping for guns. Cause it seems like everyone needs one nowadays with crazy people shooting up schools. Watch your back.  You don't wanna mess with a southern boy and his gun.
7. Organizing my jewelry.
8. Because FINALLY it's not too warm for a fire around these parts!
9. My closet is filling up with tons of things for my and Tyler's home! I'm so excited!

    1. Good Lord those sweet potatoes look like a mess. :)
    2. My closet totally looked like that before I got married, but I was crazy and started buying and collecting things when I was in middle school...yikes.
    And 3. What gun did he end up gettin'? We have a beretta ourselves :)

    That lens looks awesome!! The next big purchase I'm saving up for is a new lens and an external flash. After I finally learn how to take it off the creative auto setting, that is.

    Marshmallows are the BEST part about anything sweet-potato haha I would've been so sad. I probably just would've opened a handy can of marshmallow fluff and whipped out a spoon and gone to town LOL! So exciting about your closet full of stuff for your future place filling up quickly, that is SO awesome!

    Eeeeeee! Your blog space is sooo pretty; I just love it.

    That lens is on my wish list. My hubby had to work over Christmas, so my fingers are crossed it finds its way under the tree for our celebration. :)

    ... and that jewelry organization? Amazing.
