And who better to call than your Maid of Honor to help you select the dresses your bridesmaids would wear on your special day!? Along with my MOH came my aunt and, of course, my sweet mom.
Ever since I got engaged, my mom and I had a special vision for my wedding - vintage, country. We never had dreams of a perfectly tailored wedding dress or chiffon bridesmaid dresses. We've always pictured homespun, heirloom pieces that looked truly vintage.
We found a designer that we loved online, Magnolia Pearl, and saw that the clothing was not available in Mississippi. Luckily, we found out that one of my moms friends sold the line directly from her house - and what a house it was!
Kim Duease is an interior decorator with the most eclectic, playful and colorful house you could ever imagine. Picture mismatched china, a mannequin as a lamp, a pink kitchen and a chair as a toilet seat. See what I mean? It's pure brilliance. This woman isn't afraid of diddly squat. Below are a few images of her kitchen (images borrowed from Posh Pads).
We filled our cups, pranced around in pantaloon pants and cranked the stereo. And boy were we pleased with the things we found. Take a look and see for yourself!
