Work/Life Balance

Boy, have I been M.I.A. lately.

If you don't know, I blog full time for Willow Boutique as well as manage their Instagram, Facebook, and website (coming soon!) I love everything to do with social media but it can be so difficult to blog full time and then come home to want to blog some more. I guess I can say my work/life balance sucks a little bit.

For those of you that have full time jobs and blog on the side, when do you find the time and how do you not make yourself feel guilty? My sweet guy knows how happy blogging makes me, but I can't imagine blogging when I get home from work and not spending time with him! Heeellpppp!!

I'd love to hear your struggles (or triumphs) on how you manage your social life and work/hubby time.

So…SPILL THE BEANS! I want to hear it!

  1. It is a constant struggle! I work a full time job, I coach figure skating, do martial arts. I honestly ask the same question.... How do these bloggers keep up? I try to use every bit of time I have sometimes it takes a couple of days to get one post done.

    1. I am SO GLAD you and I are on the same page. It's nice to know you're not the only one who struggles with it.

  2. Simple. I only blog when I feel like it. I try to write like 3-4 posts at a time (then save them in my drafts) and that takes a few hrs after dinner... Usually while Caleb is doing his own thing! That way I'm not on the computer all night while multi tasking haha. I write a post last week about "finding a balance"- check it out!

    1. Checking it out now!! What a great idea. I need to set aside a specific time and when I feel like writing, i'll use that time to do it. You're just the best!

  3. I totally feel you, girl! I work full time at an office, and by the time I get home I am drained. I usually have to save my content building for the weekends, and write/edit/photoshop whenever I can find the time. I feel like my blog suffered in the winter because by the time I got home at 5, the sun was down and I had no natural light for taking pretty pictures... I'm so happy to have the sun back in my evenings, and so is my blog :-) I love your blog though, so I think you're doing just fine! Happy weekend!

  4. SUCH a struggle!!! I feel ya, babe! I try to set aside a couple of hours on a weekend and get all my posts done for the coming week, then just schedule them out! It's been working pretty well for me, and once I get in the groove, I can usually crank them out pretty quickly! :) Hope you find a good balance!! XO!
