We're Moving!

EEP EEP EEP! (that is me screaming)

I have some exciting news to share with you today - remember this post? After getting back from our trip, we realized how much we loved Florida...so much so that tyler submitted a few resumes and got a lot of call backs (more calls than in our own state!) After several skype interviews and phone calls, we're happy to say he's found an amazing job and ...we're moving!

I always pictured newlywed life in my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi, but I love the fact that we'll be experiencing a new way of life together (that way of life is called beach bums) Just kidding! But seriously.

I now feel like I have a clearer vision of where I am wanting my blog to go - that of traveling tips, date night ideas, beach life and spontaneous living. It's going to get really fun around here, y'all!

About Tyler's job opportunity - he is going to be Director of Marketing for a vacation rental management software company called Glad to Have You.

Example: when a person goes on a trip and checks into their vacation rental, there are usually notes left from the person who owns the rental. You often see things like "keep the air conditioner on this degree" or "here is where the spare key is hidden". Hand written notes no more! This software puts everything the Guest needs to know about their vacation in their hands! The app also gives the Guest local recommendations on where to eat, play and shop. There are also forms within the mobile application where guests can send maintenance requests, questions or concerns, perform a mobile check out, and more!  And at the end of their trip, the Guest can write reviews on a digital guestbook for other guests to see. Pretty cool, eh?

We will surely keep you updated on the moving process. We're super anxious for this new chapter, and are ready to call ourselves Floridians!
