That's How We Roll

My family from Tupelo, Mississippi came in town this Friday. We only see them once a year, so it was nice catching up. They haven't seen me since I've been engaged, so we got to chatting about wedding plans and such.

 After burgers, we all decided to go bowling. 

 Let me tell you a little secret - you can call me gutter ball because i'm a terrible bowler. I can play golf better than bowl. And I can't even play golf. 

 Oh, and another thing? My younger cousins are better bowlers than me. What stinks is that I'm used to bowling with the little rails up, but the man said we couldn't have them up unless we were 12 or younger. Whoever changed that rule must be really good at bowling. I like when everyone gets a chance to at least hit a PIN! 

 Anywho. 

 Thanks for listening. Now you know to never invite me bowling. Unless you want to win.

    Great pictures, looks like a wonderful time!
    I am a great fan of gutter guards. They should let everyone who wants them have them. What's up with the age limit???
    I was in a church bowling league years ago....didn't want to be, but that's another story altogether! Anyway, I held the league's lowest average at 72! (Unfortunately we did not use gutter guards.)

    I am totally in the "I can't bowl to save my life" club with you.
    Usually I just toss the ball around in weird ways and pretend I don't care when I score a total of fifty even though I'm secretly sulking.

    Looks like you guys had a blast! I love burgers and bowling, although I can't bowl AT ALL as well. They really do need to change that bumper age rule!

    I would invite you bowling just so I wouldn't be alone in the single digit scores! (why can't it be like golf where lowest score wins?) Oh and that burger joint looks heavenly. I drive through Tupelo on my way to school, but all I remember about it is that highway 78 has ZERO places to eat and get gas between Birmingham and Memphis haha.

    That's SO funny, I just went bowling last week and I was AWFUL. And stated that I was good before we went. It's actually embarrassing how bad I am lol so don't worry I could possibly be worse than you :)
