The night started off at my favorite restaurant, Sombra Kitchen, with my family and grandparents (and Tyler, of course).
We then wobbled our way to Tyler's house where his grandparents were waiting for us.

Glad everything went over well! It can be stressful having your in-laws meet the parents. Luckily both my husband's and my parents live nearby so they met each other after we'd been dating just a few months.
ReplyDeleteIs your Grandmom related to Paula Deen?
ReplyDeleteAll that food looks SO good! I might have to scrap the chicken I had planned for dinner and go out for Mexican!
SO FUNNY you say this. She gets it all the time! Sometimes when we're out in public, people come up to her because they think she is Paula Deen! Sorry to ruin dinner plans! You can't beat mexican!
DeleteWow I love this very lovely tradtionnal and familial pictures :)
ReplyDeleteI will follow your advice and add a translate button to my blog so you can read :) thanks girl for this !

Coline.
And BOOM. I'm starving.
ReplyDeleteNow looking for a recipe for coffee punch.
Glad there wasn't a brawl during their meetup. ;)
Girl, if you're not in the mood for hot coffee in the morning, you must try coffee punch! I think the recipe might be on Pinterest! I know it has coffee (duh) chocolate milk and cool whip in it. Oh, and ice cream. My kind of drink!
DeleteI'm so glad the the meeting went so well. Kenny and I have been together for 6 years and our families have still never met!!! 6 years, a marriage (we eloped to Hawaii), 2.5 grand babies and our parents only know about each other but have never met. Crazy!! When's the wedding?
ReplyDeleteThat IS crazy! I have never heard of such! We are getting married next October 26, 2013. Soooooo far away!
DeleteI was so scared for my parent's to meet my husband's parents. I have NO clue why I was so worried, my parents are pretty awesome and so are his! They met at his college graduation and then his parents had a crawfish boil after. It all went great and I love seeing how well everyone gets along - all because two people fell in love! (cheesy?) Seeing all of the extended family at the wedding together was even more fun!
ReplyDeletethis party looks so wonderful! i love all of the christmas decorations here.
